Nourishing Hope:
One Meal at a Time
Providing nutritious meals is one of our greatest priorities. Our goal is to ensure every child receives nourishing food each day, typically consisting of rice and beans, with fresh vegetables added whenever our budget allows.
At present, the children receive one to two meals each day, and every contribution—no matter how small—helps place food on their plates and hope in their hearts.
Together, we can ensure these precious children are well-fed, healthy, and able to grow, learn, and thrive.
Education
We have been truly blessed to have Mr John join our ministry as our full-time Christian teacher.
John is passionate about helping the children grow in their knowledge and love of Jesus Christ while providing them with a well-rounded education. In addition to teaching English and core academic subjects, he seeks to nurture each child's character, faith, confidence, and hope for the future through a Christ-centred approach to learning.
To continue providing quality education, we are currently seeking support for essential educational resources, including Bibles, school books, exercise books, pens, pencils, learning materials, and other classroom supplies. Every contribution helps equip these children with the tools they need to learn, grow, and build a brighter future.
Clothing and Shoes
Like most children, our kids love spending time outdoors—playing, exploring, and simply enjoying being children. As a result, their clothing and shoes wear out quickly and need to be replaced regularly.
Good-quality clothing and sturdy footwear are always in need. Whether new or gently used, every donation is received with heartfelt gratitude and brings great joy to the children. Your generosity helps ensure they are comfortably clothed, protected, and able to enjoy their childhood with confidence and dignity.
Clean Water
Access to clean water and proper sanitation remains a significant challenge in this part of Uganda. Without reliable sanitation and sewerage infrastructure, children are at greater risk of waterborne illnesses such as typhoid and other preventable diseases.
One of our highest priorities is to provide the children with a safe and dependable water supply. We are seeking to raise AUD $5,000 to install a quality water system for the home where the children live.
This project will help improve health, hygiene, and quality of life, providing clean water for drinking, cooking, washing, and everyday living. It is an investment that will benefit the children for many years to come.
Christmas Meal
Just like children all around the world, our precious children in Uganda look forward to the joy and excitement of Christmas.
Each year, we do our very best to make the day special by providing a festive meal and a small gift for every child. These simple acts of love create treasured memories and remind each child that they are valued, loved, and never forgotten.
