Nourishing Hope: Feeding Children One Meal at a Time
We aim to provide rice and beans and when the budget allows some other vegetables. The children have one to two meals a day.
Any small amount helps as food and feeding these beautiful souls is a primary priority.
Medical Care Needed for 2 Year-Old Imi.
Imi is a sweet 2-year-old boy in our orphanage, born with a rare skin condition called Congenital Melanocytic Nevus. It is now showing signs of becoming cancerous, and doctors have advised urgent surgery.
Medical care is expensive in Uganda, and the cost for surgery and rehabilitation is $8,000 USD. If you can help in any amount, please visit the GoGetFunding link below.
Education
We have been blessed to have found a christian teacher Mr John.
Johns focus is teaching the children the love of Jesus and helping to help provide them with an all round education as well as teaching English. Mr John is pictured here with Midah. We currently require and have need for scholastic materials; bibles, books, pens and other teaching materials.
Clean Water
Typhoid and water borne diseases are an ongoing issue. Sanitation and sewerage systems are non existent in this part of Uganda. We are looking to raise $5000 to install a quality water system into the building housing the children.
Clothing and Shoes
Most of our children love to be outdoors. Clothing and shoes wear out very quickly. The children love when they are gifted clothes although mostly second hand they still are so grateful.
Christmas Meal
Just like all other children around the world, our beautiful Ugandan orphans love to celebrate Christmas. Every Christmas we try and do our best each year to provide a special meal and a small gift for each child.
